Un-Freaking-Believable

Danny Williams will fight Vitali Klitschko for his heavyweight belt on Dec. 11th. Williams hasn't done anything aside from beat an old Mike Tyson. Beating Tyson would have once meant something, by the time Williams did it... let's just say it's more "Aluminum" Mike Tyson than Iron now. So what does this mean? Well by the looks of things right now, it means that V to the K will fight a token tomato can title defense. At the same time, that's what people said about Williams prior to his Tyson fight. The one thing I remember about Williams is that he went in absolutely fearless against Tyson, if he does that with Vitali... who knows. I personally think Tyson is the harder hitter between he and Klitschko, Vitali doesn't hit as hard as it seems he should be able to, doesn't seem to put his whole body in his punches. Don't get me wrong, it's still freakin hard, just not quite Tyson hard. Vitali is taller though, and strong, and he's shown he's got more guts than his little bro. My question is why doesn't Vitali go on a rampage and rid the boxing world of chump champs like Ruiz and Brewster. My only thought is that they're ducking him. Ruiz/Kiltschko would be painfully boring.. wait, Ruiz/anyone is painfully boring. Klitschko/Brewster... that would likely be an ugly beat down, i.e. entertaining.

I watched a new young heavyweight last night, ummm Littleton or something to that effect was his name. Hits really really hard, not a great boxer though. Had no amateur career, unless you consider 7 years in prison an amateur career. Went straight to pros, he didn't look all that bad though. Got knocked down in the 3rd by a hard hitting, better boxer, but he picked himself up and kept attacking until scoring an evil KO in the 7th. Knocks guys out with both hands, he's now 14 - 0 with 14 KO's. I shall keep an eye on him, needs to learn to box better though.

November will be a great month of boxing. We got Mosley/Wright II (Nov. 20), Morales is fighting Barrera who delivered the greatest body shot I've ever seen (Nov. 27). The same night Pacquiao is fighting though and he's always awesome to watch, Tszyu's fighting again (Nov. 6), Byrd/McCline, Ruiz/Golota... which may be the most foul infested bout ever!! I'm actually hoping Golota brings back the 3 punch combo to the junk for this one, actually this card is good, all heavyweights including some that may actually be interesting, Nov. 13th for those interested. Kickass, 4 Saturday's of good fighting in a row, maybe the NHL lock out is good for something.
