Boxing addition
I heard from Darren about the weight changes. His thought was that likely most of the weight lost would be muscular weight, resulting in a lower power output as compared to before the weight class change. He also figured there would be a loss of capiliarization and mitochondrial function resulting in lower endurance. How does this play a role in a fight that was over in the second round? Well, with loss of endurance you're not going to be able to train as hard prior to the fight, making your early rounds suck ass.
