Damn legs!!
Well here's a little update on the progress of my legs and my hopeful return to full sport in the next couple weeks. On the advice of the good Dr. Haver I stuck my superfeet insoles I had in my skates into my runners today. Incidently, insoles from skates don't smell like sweaty runners, oddly enough, they have that same horrible hockey equipment smell. Weird. The Doc said good arch support was needed to help the fasciitis and by god it worked. I played a little v'ball today and some badminton and I'll be damned if it didn't feel a ton better. Maybe I'll actually be able to walk tomorrow morning with out a serious limp and a grimace of pain.
Now the bad news.
I am pretty much certain I need surgery on my left leg, maybe soon at that. I had to stop playing v'ball because I was limping so bad I could hardly move. This is not good. Volleyball has never bothered my right leg bad before the surgery but now it appears my left is making up for lost compartment syndrome time. I'm pretty sad about the whole thing as it looks like there may be no hockey, soccer, or volleyball for me in the near future. Sucks. I live to play stuff.
